ABOUT CADE THOMAS
I am an up-and-coming Tulsa-based filmmaker and digital media specialist. I have written and directed many projects that include short films, long-form documentaries, stage plays, and a feature film. My projects have received over a quarter-million views on my YouTube page and have played at film festivals across the globe.
In college, I won several state awards in video production and writing, including five Oklahoma Broadcasting Association awards (with a first place prize for my eSports documentary) and an award for Top Undergraduate Research Paper from OSTCA.

In 2019, I wrote, directed, shot, edited, and produced my first feature film: RIBBON. The film is deceptively bubblegum, straddling the line between broad comedy and a modern morality tale. After spending over a year in the film festival circuit where it received numerous accolades, it premiered on January 1, 2021 for free on my YouTube channel.
During the global pandemic, I virtually premiered Laura, a two-part true crime series that shed new light on a four-decade-old cold case. Containing four interviews of people who were deeply connected to the case, the series reveals secrets that had never been shared with the public before.
I'm a Cherokee Nation citizen and work for the marketing team of my tribe's business operations as a digital content creator. I hope to continue to create unexpected films and challenging documentaries that defy traditional genre tropes and expectations.
